Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 2 tbsp salt-free chicken seasoning
  • 16 oz salsa

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker

  2. Sprinkle both sides with chicken seasoning

  3. Pour an entire 16oz jar of salsa into the slow cooker until chicken breasts are completely covered

  4. Cook on high for about 3-4 hours until fully cooked (cook times may vary)

  5. Take chicken out of the slow cooker and finely shred using fork

  6. Turn slow cooker down to "low" or "warm" setting

  7. Place shredded chicken back into the slow cooker with the salsa and mix well

  8. Let sit for about 30 minutes until full flavor is absorbed

  9. Chicken is ready to use right away in your favorite recipe or can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer for future use
