Oh hey! I’m so happy you decided to swing by Sweet Simple Wellness. I’m Casi (Kay-see), the owner of Sweet Simple Wellness. If you would have told me a year ago that I’d have this blog up and running by now, I would have thought you were crazy. However, with a little push from my husband, inspiration from friends and family, and newfound direction on what I want out of this life (the only one we’re given)…here we are!
For starters, I’m a lot like most women out there, meaning I wear MANY hats. I’m a full-time employee at one of the best start-up food companies ever (more on that later), a full-time boy mom, wife, daughter, sister, etc. I feel stretched thin most days, but I’m grateful beyond belief for everything and everyone in my life. I’m in the season of life that feels like a constant juggling act and I know so many of you feel the same way.
I swam competitively throughout high school and that is what set the foundation for my active lifestyle throughout college, adulthood, and now motherhood. I feel my best after a good sweat and a good meal. Being active is my release, my therapy, and my passion. I’ve been teaching group fitness for almost six years now (holy cow), and although motherhood has required some re-balancing in life, sharing my passion for health & wellness with others is what lights me up inside.
I started this blog to share how I (and YOU) can live an active lifestyle, manage a career and mom-life, and eat healthy with some go-to, unintimidating recipes. I’ll also probably share my favorite pizza spots, donut shops, and breweries because…they call it “balance” for a reason! I hope you find something here that inspires you or at least makes your life a little sweeter and simpler.
